 Robert
Daykin has a background in Sales and Marketing, Project Management
and Strategic Purchasing. He has held travel purchasing and
management roles for companies such as The Littlewoods Organisation,
Dresser Industries and The Halliburton Company. In 1999, he
established travelConsult, a specialist travel purchasing
and management consultancy, offering services exclusively
to corporate clients. His client list included major organisations
in finance, retailing, engineering, oil, recruitment, IT and
telecommunications. Robert is a former vice-chairman of the
Institute of Travel Management and a regular speaker at business
travel-related events.

Richard Plummer - Senior Partner

former Business Travel World Travel Manager of the year (1999),
Richard Plummer worked at GlaxoWellcome from 1985-2001, first
as Car Services Manager and then as Travel Manager, handling
an annual budget of £40 million. In addition to running
the UK operation, he delivered global car hire contracts and
hotel programmes for Glaxo- Wellcome. Richard has worked in
travel and transport since beginning his career in 1967 as
a Transport Manager with the NAAFI. Other positions have been
with CBS Records, Roboserve and Currrys Electrical.
